Hello everyone, my name is Kathryn Mullin-Idema,
I am a visual storyteller
Stories are all around us, and I have a passion for telling them through camera lenses, words, and even sound. Currently, I am living in Poznan, Poland where I divide my time working as the owner of Tattered Suitcase and as an English instructor.
Let me tell you about my experience as a visual storyteller.
My storytelling roots began while working as a beat reporter for my community college’s newspaper. I met a journalism professor there whose enthusiasm motivated me to work hard as a journalist and writer. His mentorship helped me gain valuable experience and discover a new form of storytelling- videography.
After graduating with a B.A. in Professional Communication, I have gone on to create visual stories for organizations in the US and Poland.
